People often ask me about the tools and resources I use and that I would recommend to other PowerWomen with big dreams. And because I know there are so many options out there, I put together this list to help you cut through the overwhelm and confusion. From business tools, to video gear and appointment scheduling software, you'll find my absolute favorites here.
Please note that there are some affiliate links on this page, but I can assure you that I love each and every one of these products and wouldn’t recommend anything that I don’t personally use in my own business.
Leadpages is the #1 landing page builder that allows you to generate leads and sales with much more ease. Choose from hundreds of mobile-responsive templates that you can easily customize to get more customers to join your email list, sign up for your event, or buy your products and services. I especially love their beautiful but simple interface and built-in optimization tools for even higher conversions.
Convertkit is my Email Service Provider of choice, and I highly recommend it to all my clients. Easily create and embed beautiful, responsive opt-in forms that can go anywhere on your website, whether it's in your sidebar or at the end of a blog post. And what I love most is that they've set up email automation in a way that allows you to view and understand your entire drip email sequence at a single glance.
The world's largest domain name registrar, GoDaddy offers you an easy, affordable way to get your ideas online so you can share your message with the world. This is my go-to place to register domain names.
I believe each company has their own specialty, so where I think GoDaddy is the #1 domain name registrar, I let Hostgator take care of my hosting because I think they're the best at what they do.
Studiopress premium themes allow you to quickly and easily build incredible websites with WordPress. All Studiopress themes have built-in SEO, responsive design, airtight security and amazing widget and layout options. Canva is my go-to tool for anything graphic design. I literally use Canva for everything, and if you've been around this community for a while you must have run into something that I created using Canva. From my social media cover photos and updates, to my blog title images and lead magnets...I create it all in Canva.
Asana is a web and mobile app designed to help teams track their work, manage tasks and projects, conversations and dashboards. Asana enables you and your team to move work from start to finish. It's the easiest way for both individuals and teams to track their work—and get results. I love working with Asana for any project, big or small.

So no more headaches and frustrations to get your clients booked.
The Logitech C930E is a usb desktop or laptop webcam with a HD 1080 pixel camera. I'm still amazed at the high quality recording from such a small device. I have my webcam mounted on a little desk tripod and successfully use it for all my videos, online courses, live broadcasts and webinars, and I love it.
Blue Yeti is the world's #1 usb microphone, allowing you to create studio-quality recordings with your computer. This microphone has four different pattern settings so you can record vocals, music, podcasts, audio for video, or interviews, in ways that would normally require multiple microphones.
The Diva ring light is a lightweight, portable beauty light that renders soft, clear and shadow-free lighting that can be adjusted smoothly from 20% up to the maximum level. It's ideal lighting to shoot photos and videos in small spaces. Not only is the ring light compact, it also looks beautiful and non-obtrusive in your workspace.
Screenflow is my software of choice for screen and video recording. Screenflow allows recording of your entire monitor, video camera and audio so you can deliver a flawless presentation. Screenflow’s multi-layer interface makes editing your screencast easy and intuitive, so you can focus on the creative work of telling your story.
Vimeo is a great option for video hosting. With packages ranging from free to several hundred dollars per year, Vimeo is a great option for video hosting without ads, without pre-roll, post roll or overlays to distract your viewers. Your videos are protected and your viewers get only what you want them to see – your video. If you want your videos to be protected – e.g. for your paid courses – I don't recommend YouTube. Use a paid service like Vimeo instead.
Webinarjam Studio is a conversion focused webinar platform that integrates one click landing page templates with powerful webinars and automatic recording for replays. They also offer the separate EverWebinar platform that allows you to turn your recorded webinars into high-converting automated webinars that make you money while you sleep.
Evernote is a popular notes app designed to help you stay extremely organized. You can add text, images, audio, scanned documents, files, web clips, and more to your notebook, synchronize everything across all of your devices, and then quickly find anything with powerful search that can even recognize text inside your files and images. It’s kind of a handy extension of your brain, and that's why I use it all day, every day.
